▫️About the artist▫️
Having grown up in the seaside town of Pwllheli, North Wales, with Snowdonia on my doorstep, I’ve been lucky enough to have been surrounded by the captivating beauty of land and sea.
This, along with my passion for art and decor, helps me create modern, abstract pieces inspired by the colours, movement and outlines concomitant with such scenery.
I also enjoy creating less dramatic art, with emphasis on texture and earthy/neutral tones, which aim to create a sense of calmness and zen in any home/workplace.
I aim to ‘bring the outside in’ with each piece, using mixed media & modelling paste to portray a sense of conflict between the calm and chaos often associated with nature.
More recently I have experimented with worded art, creating pieces with statements/ phrases that evoke and instant, emotional reaction.
